Boy did I learn something new today. I went to take R to register in the new school right? They charge 230.00 for "noontime supervision"! 
I thought I had misunderstood the gal. Holy Cow Batman! Parents can either take their children home during the lunch hour or pay the school to supervise them during lunch. Pardon? Who the heck came up with something like that?!?! It is just nuts to me. As if we don't pay enough for school fees, supplies, etc... now we have to pay to "use the lunchroom", to have "noontime supervison". Absolutely absurd! And what if you have more than one child?!?! It could easily be upwords of a thousand dollars just to have them enrolled in school. Not to mention that those supplies that were bought... get used and have to be replaced.
